TRAINING MMLT Project, Pitesti, Hous of Teachers - 05-06 February 2014
On 5th and 6th February, 2014, at the House of Teachers from Pitesti, Arges County, Romania, we, Asociatia YF-YOUTH&FUTURE, as partner in MMLT KA2 Languages project, will keep a training course for Language teachers, in order to introduce them the Manual and to make them familiar with the tools of MMLT.
This would be:
2. Training of the adult language educators
a) developing strategies to familiarize adult learners and adult educators with Montessori principles,
b) emphasizing on stress management techniques
c) familiarizing educators with learning theories (e.g. about the different forms of intelligence – Gardner, about the connection
between neurosciences in language learning etc.) and ways to develop communicative skills useful in all adult training sessions
d) supporting adult educators on adapting their teaching techniques according to the Montessori principles
e) supporting adult educators to apply the MMLT Manual
This face-to-face training will be followed by one ONLINE training of the language teachers, which will be available very soon!
All the teachers interested should contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will introduce their e-mails in our database, starting to make all the procedures for making possible attestation of participation for them!
Those 2 courses will finish with one research report regarding the interest of all partner countries participants in the training for approaching and implementing innovative methodology as Montessori`s in their language classes. Each partner shall contribute to the comparative report of the piloting phase by submitting all the required data:
- Feedback questionnaires (online or other, see annex)
- 2 case studies minimum based on an interview (one educator and one learner). The interview could take place face to face or via a
teleconference tool. (Skype or other). Alternatively, it could be a written interview, with questions sent to the person and received in
